Hi, my name is Dawson.

I'm a software engineer who enjoys building creative, interesting, and useful things.

Currently, I work in the manufacturing industry in Montana where I develop mobile and web applications. I'm experienced in the full development lifecycle, starting with problem identification and continuing through development, deployment, and support. My personal projects focus on mobile apps because I believe they are most connected to people's daily lives.

If you're interested in collaborating or have a project in mind, feel free to reach out. I'm always open to new ideas and opportunities.

My journey into software development began in college when I enrolled in my first programming course. That initial exposure sparked a deep and lasting interest in technology. I'm continually amazed by the breadth of the software field and the countless industries it touches. The versatility of the career offers immense creative freedom, and I appreciate how accessible it is. Often all it takes is a laptop and a great idea to begin building something meaningful.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors through camping, fishing, and skiing. When not outdoors, I like to read, write, and play music.
